Magnolia Sustainable Experiences is proud to be part of project titled Sustainable Tourism and Protected Areas in a Post-Covid world, funded by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), implemented by IUCN Vietnam (International Union for Conservation of Nature) and Planeterra Foundation.
From January 2022 to November 2022, we worked closely with the Cuc Phuong National Park and Van Long Wetland Reserve Area's administrations to conduct the survey, tourist train to the selected community and create a tour itinerary that is operated entirely by the community's members.

Since 2023, Magnolia Responsible Travel, acts as an official operator, has sent a lot of tourist to Van Long Natural Reserve, providing them with an authentic and responsible travel experience.

Meet with the Administrations and Commune's authorities in Cuc Phuong National Park and Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve
Community survey and in-depth interview were conducted in 11 villages. The villages spreads out in many locations, even provinces due to the largeness of the Reserve and National Park.

In Cuc Phuong National Park, we conducted the survey in 6 villages including: Nga 1, Nga 3 and Sam in Cuc Phuong commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province; Khanh village in An Nghia commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province; Bien village in Thach Lam commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province.

In Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve, the survey was conduct in 5 villages including: Vuon Thi, Gong Vo and Doi Ngo village in Gia Hoa commune; Cot and Hoa Tien villages in Gia Hung commune.
Report and Selection of the communities for the Trainings
Conducted the Trainings in Health and Safety Protocols, Product Development and Marketing in Tourism to the 05 selected communities in Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve and Cuc Phuong National Park.
