Our Work

At Magnolia Sustainable Experiences, we have actively participated in various projects that have built our expertise and strengthened our commitment to sustainable tourism and community development. Here are some of the significant projects we have undertaken:

Sustainable Tourism and Protected Areas in a Post-Covid World (2022)

This project, funded by GIZ and implemented by IUCN Vietnam and Planeterra, a Canadian NGO, spanned 9 months and involved 13 communities in Cuc Phuong National Park and Van Long Wetland Natural Reserve. We selected five potential communities for training workshops on Health and Safety Protocols, Product Development, and Marketing in tourism.

Supporting the development of a community-based tourism project in Cao Pha commune, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai.

Thanks to Khau Pha Friends, a local social enterprise, this project focuses on establishing four homestays and community experiences with the indigenous Thai people in Khau Pha village.

Through these projects, we aim to create sustainable tourism products that not only attract tourists but also provide meaningful and healthy job opportunities for local communities, thereby enhancing their livelihood.

Magnolia Responsible Travel

The output of each project is a market-ready tourist product. The development funds and projects are usually short-term and serve as an ignition for the community. Maintaining sustainability is a long-term effort. Magnolia Responsible Travel is another brand that ensures the practicality and market connectivity of each product, thereby creating sustainability for each community we work with.
