Magnolia Sustainable Experiences is revolutionizing tourism with our Circular Community-Based Tourism (CBT) model. By involving local communities in every stage of the tourism process, from data collection to capacity building, we empower small and medium-sized tourism facilities to adopt sustainable practices. Our goal is to help these businesses reduce waste, optimize resources, and position themselves as eco-conscious, high-value destinations for premium travelers seeking authentic, sustainable experiences.
Introducing Our Circular Tourism Model at Tam Thanh
We’re excited to launch our CBT pilot project at Tam Thanh Nature Beach in Quang Nam Province. This project aims to transform a local accommodation into a model of circular tourism by integrating eco-friendly practices throughout the guest experience. With waste reduction, resource optimization, and a focus on local suppliers, we plan to increase the income of local tourism providers by at least 20% within the first year.
Target Customers and Beneficiaries
Our project targets travel agencies and tour operators serving eco-conscious travelers, as well as universities interested in experiential learning about sustainable tourism. Local tourism providers, particularly micro, small, and medium-sized businesses in coastal and rural areas, will benefit from our practical, cost-effective solutions to reduce waste and rebrand as sustainable destinations.
Key Solutions for Sustainable Tourism
Circular Resource Management: Simple waste reduction and resource reuse strategies that enhance operational efficiency and the guest experience.
Community Co-creation: Co-designing tourism products with local providers to reflect the unique character of the community and offer premium experiences.
Local Supplier Network: Connecting tourism providers with local artisans and farmers to create an authentic supply chain that benefits both the local economy and the guest experience.
Looking Ahead
By scaling the C-CBT model to additional locations in Vietnam over the next two years, we aim to demonstrate its flexibility across diverse regions, from coastal areas to the mountains and Mekong Delta. Our long-term goal is to build a nationwide network of sustainable, high-value tourism destinations.
Join us in this exciting journey toward sustainable tourism, where communities, travelers, and the environment all thrive together!
